Chris

Chris is a loveable, friendly chap. And about as uncomplicated as they get, which makes him super easy to work with.

He’s been around the recruitment-block to say the least. In fact quite a few blocks, having worked across New Zealand, Australia and the UK. A bit of a guru in sales and account management (although you’ll never hear him say that), Chris has covered a range of sectors from high volume labour through to C-level recruitment, in multiple sectors. Riveting stuff, right?

The bottom line is, Chris is passionate about helping people. And that’s why he co-founded Candidex — because he knew there was an easier, more genuine way to do recruitment. Simple.

Wayne

Wayne is one of those friendly people you immediately start telling your secrets to. Maybe it’s his humble English manner, or maybe it’s because he’s just incredibly committed, honest and always accessible — even at 2am on a school night (give him a try and see!).

Wayne is an education recruitment specialist dedicated to serving both educators and the organisations he recruits for.

Having worked in multiple markets including the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Wayne set up Candidex to create an honest and simplified experience everyone can trust.

Sam

Sam is the sort of gentleman you’d want to introduce to your parents – loveable, confident and just quirky enough to make him interesting. In fact, Sam has been invited to several family dinners in The Philippines and Singapore.

Sam’s rapid rise in the recruitment industry is testimony to his natural ability as a Senior Account Manager. A specialist in our international project team, his time working for The Ministry of Education has given him a wealth of knowledge to help streamline processes regarding both job placements and family relocation.

Harriett

Harriett’s warm and welcoming nature might have something to do with her deep southern New Zealand roots. They call it the heartland down that way for a reason, and it’s fair to say she has a big heart.

Friendly, confident, and professional – her strong values and commitment are second nature. She’s a recruitment ace, juggling talent sourcing, candidate care, and process management like a boss. Challenges? They’re her cup of tea.

As a Senior Account Manager, Harriett focuses on building key client partnerships and understands the unique challenges faced by ECE providers. Her role ensures a balanced and supportive approach for our amazing teachers and providers.
